Hannah M Mathers, MD

Hannah Mathers, MD chose to become an OB-GYN because she believes it is a privilege to care for women through every stage of life. “My goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered,” she states. “I believe in working collaboratively with each patient, providing the information and guidance they need to make informed, confident decisions about their health.”

Dr. Mathers grew up in Santa Monica and completed her medical degree and residency in her home state of California. She speaks advanced Spanish and German. “What I love most about being an OB-GYN is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my patients."

“It is an honor to support women as they navigate both joyful milestones and challenging moments. I am passionate about contraception, family planning, caring for pregnant women, hormone replacement therapy, addressing abnormal menstrual bleeding, minimally invasive surgery and robotic surgery.”

When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Mathers enjoys hiking, traveling to new and familiar places, going to the beach and scuba diving.
