Haleh Khoshreza, MD, studied medical school at the University of Cologne in Cologne, Germany. She went on to complete an internal medicine residency at Klinikum Duisburg, Germany, and later went on to complete a family medicine residency at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Khoshreza chose a career in medicine because she wants to make a difference in the lives of her patients by improving their life quality and life expectancy through preventive care. She specialized in family medicine because it allows her to see and treat a variety of patients.
I have a strong interest in preventive care and performing small procedures. My first goal is to provide the best quality of care for my patients. I have found that effective communication with patients plays a vital role in the quality of their care and their overall health outcome.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Khoshreza enjoys hiking, traveling around the world, cooking Persian and international foods, and spending time with her family. She grew up in Iran and moved to Germany to study medicine and speaks both Farsi and German. She practiced three years of internal medicine back in Germany. Dr. Khoshreza is a passionate traveler and has traveled to more than 25 countries, she loves to get to know different cultures.
