A Southern California native, Dr Kimball grew up in South Pasadena and attended University of California, San Diego for both his undergraduate studies and medical education. He then completed his residency and served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine at Long Beach Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and serves on the teaching faculty at Long Beach Medical Center.

When not in the office, Dr. Kimball enjoys camping, outdoor activities, and traveling around the world.
