About Me

David Huseby, M.D., became interested in medicine when he was 8 years old. He wasn't afraid when given a shot at the doctor's office. Instead, he was fascinated. His interest deepened when his sister was faced with open heart surgery at a young age.

A native of Whittier, Dr. Huseby completed his medical training and internship at Loma Linda University in California. He served his residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles. Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Huseby particularly enjoys working with seniors. Patients of all ages appreciate his experience, expertise and approachable nature.

Prior to relocating to South Orange County, Dr. Huseby was in private practice in Ventura County. He was affiliated with St. John's Hospital in Camarillo, where he was well respected by patients, families, colleagues and staff. In 1995, he was honored as "Physician of the Year" and was nominated twice thereafter.

"I take time with my patients, giving them the freedom to express their health issues," he says. I particularly enjoy working with seniors because of the wisdom they possess from their lifetime of experiences."

Dr. Huseby is married and has twin daughters and a son who keep him as active at home as he is in the doctor's office. In his free time he enjoys cycling, hiking and music.
