I have had a serious cough with enormous amount of mucus for the last 2.5 weeks. My roommate was diagnosed with pneumonia. I wanted to rule out pneumonia and wanted a x-Ray but was not ordered. Just because lungs sound clear does not mean that a patient does not have pneumonia. Not everything is picked up with a stethoscope.

While in the exam, another staff member (I had never met) opened the door without knocking and just started speaking to Corinne Perez and interrupting my privacy and appointment. She then rushed me and left. She did not fully explain the medication prescribed and was told by the pharmacist that they were not to be used at the same time.

She walked in the room with an attitude Did NOT tell me she was a nurse practitioner and my nurse presented the “Dr.” would be in soon.. long story short she wouldn’t allow me to have a ct scan and recommended I see my primary care physician. I thought that sounded strange and why would I do that if I was in so much pain to make an appointment with my primary care physician that would take up to a week possibly two to get into see she suggested I go to the emergency room and then proceeded to ask me with an attitude. What hospital would you like to go to? I’m not impressed Ultimately, I did go to Saddleback had to check myself in in order to get a CT scan and an x-ray there’s five hours. I can’t get back.

She was dismissive. Told me to go to ER. I went to a different Urgent Care where I paid out of pocket and they quickly discovered what was wrong. Also - you advertise (via website AND a sign on the door) that you have ultrasound, but she said that wasn’t available to me.

I felt unheard, basically I felt dismissed of my aliments and felt brushed off. I came in with pain and a history which I didn’t even get the opportunity to tell her. Felt like I was a waste of time being there, and it is frustrating. I have a history with the problem that I came in with so much so I did surgery, but I didn’t even get the opportunity to say it cause it was like she was already one step out the door. I felt so disappointed because my dad was here back when it was still Bristol park, I know the expectation of what is supposed to be provided with care. She didn’t achieve that and left hesitant to come back to any urgent care.
