Dr. Coyne is a board certified family practice physician and a California native. He completed his undergraduate degree at UCLA before earning his medical degree at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Coyne spend six years in the US Air Force at Andrews and Luke Air Force bases, eventually separating as a Major. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, and spends his free time with his family and two sons.

Dr. Brian Coyne is the most caring primary care physician I ever had. I met Dr. Coyne back in the 1990s he is kind, professional, compassionate, knowledgeable about medicine, good listener. Unfortunately my health insurance dropped Dr. Coyne on myplan I was devastated, when I changed insurance again, I saw Dr. Coyne on my plan. I saw the website and said he was not taking new patients. I did call the doctor's office and said. " Hi, I used to be a patient of Dr. Coyne years ago, I read he is not taking new patients however since I was his patient in the past, they took my information, went through their medicial records confirmed and accepted me as his returning patient.Dr. Coyne continues to be same kind, caring, compassionate, professional doctor. I would strongly recommend everyone to have Dr. Coyne as their primary care physician.

I've only been seeing Dr. Coyne as my primary care provider for about 4-5 months, and I can already say he's changed my life. For over 20 years, I suffered from painful, embarrassing bumps, redness, and pus on my scalp. It was irritating, sometimes even unbearable. My old doctor and even a dermatologist tried different antibiotics and creams -- nothing worked. Eventually, I just gave up and learned to live with it.On top of that, I had a rash for 3-4 months that my old doctor brushed off as "normal." That's when I decided to switch to Dr. Coyne -- and I'm so glad I did.During my very first visit, Dr. Coyne took a close look and told me I had a non-sexual yeast infection on my skin. He gave me a cream -- and boom -- it cleared up. I was amazed.That gave me the confidence to ask about my scalp again, even though I had lost hope. Dr. Coyne didn't dismiss it. He took just 30 seconds to examine me and said, "This looks like folliculitis." He explained it clearly, gave me a treatment plan, and said, "Let's try this cream -- if it doesn't work in a month, we'll do something else."To my shock -- it cleared up in FOUR DAYS. I kept waiting for it to come back... but it's been over a month, and my scalp is finally clear for the first time in 20 years.Dr. Coyne is compassionate, sharp, and genuinely cares about his patients. If you're struggling with skin issues, scalp problems, or anything that other doctors have dismissed -- go see Dr. Coyne. He's not just another doctor -- he's the kind that actually listens and knows what he's doing. I'm incredibly thankful I found him. Just wished I found him sooner.

I'm sure Dr Coyne is a great doctor. I just can't get in to see him. Two different times I've called to make an appt. The first time was to make an appt to get a referral for a mole that I had ongoing care for. But bc my insurance changed I have to start ALL OVER as a "new patient" in order to get that referral to go back to my specialist. Ridiculous. The second time I called was bc I had a persistent health issue for the past two weeks that was not fun to deal with. The receptionist said --again-- the next new patient availability isn't for 3 months. So...I have to suck it up and deal with my issue until then? Their response was, you can go to urgent care. As a health care professional having to deal with staff that don't care or know how to think outside the box to get their patient care is really sad and upsetting. I have my own office and my staff do not treat patients like this.

This is the worse medical group that I have ever had to deal with. My PCP retired so my insurance arbitrarily assigned me to Dr. Coyne. I have tried to get in to see Dr. Coyne and was denied due to my account being in collections (upsetting news to me as I always pay as I go. In fact, his staff collects your co-pay immediately after you check in.). In any event, I needed medical attention so I called the billing department and paid the $50.53. 20 days later, and after having to receive treatment from the ER for my condition, I am still suffering in pain. I tried to make an appointment today and was told I was still in collections (my bank statement shows my payment made on 10/10/25 cleared my bank on 10/14/25). Nonetheless, Karina advised it could take two months for my account to reflect my payment and until then, they cannot render care and treatment to me. My advise is to steer clear of this doctor and the medical group as caring for his patients is not his priority. What a disgrace to the medical community

I received confirmation with my Insurance company that Dr Coyne is my new Dr I didnquotesinglet immediately need an appoint Now I do and called to find out he isnquotesinglet taking new patients I explained I am not new The office workers were of NO help in a resolution and I couldnquotesinglet speak with the Dr They just said he was overwhelmend with patients from two other Dr and pretty much quotesingletoo badquotesingle Terrible way to run your practice Shame on you I was a confirmed patient There is NOTHING right about what you did
