About

Amanda Guevara, PA-C chose medicine as her career to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives and provide compassionate, high-quality care. She specializes in hematology and oncology, a field that combines the study of blood disorders with cancer treatment to diagnose, treat, and manage cancers of the blood and lymphatic system.

“Hematology-Oncology is a challenging specialty, but it is deeply rewarding and gives me the chance to keep learning while supporting patients through complex treatments. I really enjoy building trusting relationships with patients and being there for them during difficult times. Helping them understand their care, answering questions, and seeing the difference it makes in their lives is incredibly rewarding.”

Amanda believes in being approachable with her patients and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care. “I take the time to listen to my patients and make sure they feel supported throughout their care,” she notes.

Outside of medicine, Amanda loves hiking and spending time outdoors, especially exploring different parts of California. She grew up in Florida and is relatively new to the West Coast. “I also enjoy traveling and watching football,” she says.
