Ali Tabatabai, MD

I have been practicing in Orange County since 1998 after moving from the San Fernando Valley. I am currently the vice president of South County Medical Associates, which was formed in February of 1999. I worked as a full-time clinician at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills in the Internal Medicine department and the Urgent Care Center. During my employment with Talbert Medical Group in Laguna Hills, I was also a full-time hospitalist at Saddleback Medical Center where I am currently on staff.

My office is located at Saddleback Medical Tower adjacent to the hospital. My emphasis is on comprehensive adult care with particular attention to the senior patient. Through seminars and workshops that I have given at various community centers regarding adult health issues, I encourage patients to be active and willing participants in their health care. I believe that medicine is an art that is created through a partnership between physician and patient. For me to be effective, my approach must include understanding each person's physical and emotional needs.
