About
Dr. Bhardwaj is the Director of Critical Care Medicine at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center.
Dr. Bhardwaj attended Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India and trained in Internal Medicine at Drexel University, Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Philadelphia. After IM residency, he joined the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia, as a Critical Care Hospitalist where he simultaneously pursued a Resuscitation Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Resuscitation Science under the mentorship of Dr. Benjamin Abella. He subsequently trained at the Cleveland Clinic, OH for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and simultaneously pursued a MS in Clinic Research at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Bhardwaj loves providing personalized and empathetic care to his patients. He is a strong advocate for clinical excellence and clear communication. He believes in kindness, empathy and caring for the team as well. He was awarded the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Clinical Excellence Awards in 2021 and 2022. In addition, he received multiple Caregiver Celebrations Awards for teamwork, empathy, and patient care at the Cleveland Clinic. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Riverside and the Block Director for the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine.
Outside of work, he enjoys taking his two young kids to the beach frequently and aims to never miss a sunset with his family. He loves travelling, flying his drone, and creating drone videos.
