Overview
“A Randomized Phase 3 Study to Compare VAC (Higher Cyclophosphamide Dose and Intensity) versus VAC/VI (Lower Cyclophosphamide Dose and Intensity) Plus Maintenance Therapy in Patients with Newly Diagnosed Intermediate-Risk Rhabdomyosarcoma”
Researchers are studying two different chemotherapy approaches for people with newly diagnosed intermediate-risk rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS), a type of soft tissue sarcoma. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard VAC chemotherapy or VAC/VI chemotherapy followed by maintenance therapy. Researchers will compare how well these treatment approaches control the cancer, prevent relapse, and improve long-term outcomes while monitoring side effects and quality of life.
