Overview
“A Phase 3, Randomized, Open-label Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Sac-TMT (Sacituzumab Tirumotecan, MK-2870) Followed by Carboplatin/Paclitaxel vs Chemotherapy, Both in Combination With Pembrolizumab as Neoadjuvant Therapy for High-Risk Early-Stage Triple-Negative Breast Cancer or Hormone Receptor-low Positive/Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor-2 Negative Breast Cancer.”
Researchers are studying whether an investigational treatment called sacituzumab tirumotecan (MK-2870), given with pembrolizumab before surgery, may work better than the current standard treatment for people with newly diagnosed high-risk, early-stage triple-negative breast cancer or hormone receptor-low/HER2-negative breast cancer. Participants will receive treatment before surgery, followed by standard follow-up treatment after surgery. The study will compare how well the treatments eliminate cancer and help prevent the cancer from returning.
