“Comparison of safety and effectiveness of a VARIPULSE™ PFA catheter to FARAWAVE™ PFA catheter in the treatment of participants with Persistent Atrial Fibrillation: A randomized controlled trial”

Researchers are evaluating two pulsed field ablation (PFA) catheters, VARIPULSE™ and FARAWAVE™, in adults with persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib). The study will compare the safety and effectiveness of these devices when used during catheter ablation procedures to treat AFib. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatment groups and followed to assess heart rhythm outcomes, procedure safety, and overall treatment success.
