Overview

Cilostazol for Prevention of Recurrent Stroke Trial (Clarity)

Researchers are studying whether adding cilostazol to standard stroke prevention treatment with aspirin or clopidogrel can reduce the risk of future strokes, heart attacks, and cardiovascular death in people who recently experienced a non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA). Participants will receive either cilostazol or a placebo, in addition to their usual treatment, and will be followed for up to five years to evaluate safety and effectiveness.
