Overview
“Fluid management of Acute decompensated heart failure Subjects Treated with Reprieve System - FASTR II”
Researchers are studying whether the Reprieve System, an investigational fluid management system, can improve treatment for people hospitalized with acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF). The study will compare the Reprieve System to standard diuretic therapy to see if it can help remove excess fluid more effectively, reduce hospital readmissions, and improve patient outcomes. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the treatment groups and followed for approximately 180 days after treatment. Up to 450 participants will be enrolled at sites across North America and Europe.
