Our priority is to provide high-quality, personalized care. Saddleback Medical Center offers a hotel-style room service program – providing meals when you want them during your hospital stay. Once your physician has placed your nutrition orders, you will be given a menu by a Room Service Host or your nurse. Then you may call our Call Center between 6:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to request a meal or snack. The menu can also be viewed on the Get Well Network and is available below.
To order a meal or snack, call *88 from your hospital room phone, allowing up to 45 minutes for meal delivery. Our highly skilled staff may suggest alternative selections if there are items not consistent with the nutrition order prescribed by your doctor. We also work with you regarding any special nutritional needs. If you prefer to have meals arrive at specific times, we will schedule accordingly. If you’d like an after-hours snack or meal, please request one from your nurse.
Family members or a designee may place an order on behalf of a patient by calling 949.452.DINE (3463).
Patients who need assistance communicating their food orders will be visited for selections, or if determined appropriate, have pre-selected meals delivered at normal meal times. We monitor patients who don’t order meals, reach out to them for orders, and communicate with dietitians who address eating problems with nurses and doctors if needed. We also work closely with patients and nurses to coordinate meals with medications, tests and procedures.

Room Service Guest Meals are available for purchase for those wishing to dine with their friend or relative during their hospital stay. We accept major credit and debit cards.
Breakfast $8. Lunch or Dinner $10. (Lunch or dinner includes an entrée, two sides, a beverage and dessert or fruit.)
