William G Perkins, MD

William Perkins, M.D., is triple board certified in pediatric medicine, pediatric critical care, and pediatric pulmonology. He served both his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Kansas Department of Pediatrics.

Dr. Perkins completed his pediatric pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans. Additionally, he completed one year of a pediatric endocrine fellowship. Dr. Perkins currently serves as medical director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Mary Medical Center and Director of the Pediatric Hospitalist Service at St. Francis Medical Center.

Dr. William Perkins has served on the academic faculty at the University of Kansas and the University of Tennessee. Currently he serves on the Clinical Faculty at Harbor UCLA.

He has been serving the community by practicing critical care pediatrics for over 20 years. Dr. Perkins is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
