Overview
“Assessment of Long-Term Safety and Effectiveness in Treatment Management of Atrial Fibrillation with the VARIPULSE™ Catheter System”
Researchers are studying the long-term safety and effectiveness of the FDA-approved VARIPULSE™ Catheter System for treating symptomatic paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (AF), a type of irregular heartbeat. Participants will undergo a catheter ablation procedure using the VARIPULSE™ system and will be followed for up to 36 months to monitor heart rhythm, symptom improvement, and any procedure-related complications. The study will enroll approximately 276 adults across up to 30 sites in the United States. Information collected may help improve treatment options and long-term outcomes for people living with atrial fibrillation.
