Overview
“A Randomized, Controlled, Double-Blind Phase III Clinical Study of SSGJ-707 Combined with Chemotherapy Versus Tislelizumab Combined with Chemotherapy as First-Line Treatment for Locally Advanced or Metastatic Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer”
This study is being done to learn whether a new medicine called PF‑08634404, when given with chemotherapy, works better than the current standard treatment (pembrolizumab with chemotherapy) for adults with a type of lung cancer called non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Purpose of the Study - To compare how well PF‑08634404 plus chemotherapy works against pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy. - To see how safe the new medicine is and how participants respond to treatment.
Who Can Join - Adults (18 years or older) with advanced non‑small cell lung cancer (either locally advanced or spread to other parts of the body). - Participants must not have certain genetic changes in their cancer and must not have received prior treatment for advanced disease.
How the Study Works - Participants will be randomly assigned (like flipping a coin) to one of two groups: - Group A (new treatment): PF‑08634404 plus chemotherapy. - Group B (standard treatment): Pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy. - Treatments are given by IV infusion (into a vein) in cycles. - Participants will continue treatment as long as it is helping and side effects are manageable.
What to Expect - Regular health checks and treatments during study visits. - Scans and tests to see how the cancer responds (every 6 weeks at first, then every 12 weeks). - Ongoing monitoring for side effects and overall health.
Key Point This study is designed to find out if PF‑08634404, when combined with chemotherapy, can become a better treatment option for people with advanced non‑small cell lung cancer compared to the current standard care.
