Visit MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital trauma teams at the Latinos in Action Community Health Fair for free hands-on emergency preparedness education.
Community members can learn Hands-Only CPR and Stop the Bleed techniques while exploring health screenings, wellness resources, social services, and educational opportunities designed to support the health of Latinx families throughout Long Beach.
Families will learn:
- Hands-Only CPR techniques
- How to respond during a cardiac emergency
- Bleeding control basics
- Tourniquet application
- Emergency preparedness skills for families
