This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

The America’s Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers list highlights the nation’s top inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) based on quality of care, quality of service, quality of follow-up care and accommodation and amenities. Facilities in the 25 states with the highest number of inpatient rehabilitation facilities – according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) – were part of this study. The rankings feature the top 230 centers nationwide. The evaluation process was comprised of five steps – recommendations from peers, quality score, KPI data scores, the model systems, and CARF Accreditation.

Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the MemorialCare Rehabilitation Institute at Long Beach Medical Center offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and language therapy, cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Rehabilitation patients have access to four gyms, a pool and the latest in rehabilitation equipment.
