Wild Rivers Waterpark returned to Irvine, CA, in 2023 to bring extra summer fun back to Orange County. MemorialCare and Wild Rivers have partnered since then to highlight the importance of swimming skills and water safety for families. MemorialCare, along with Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital is a proud advocate for community health and wellness. Wild Rivers provides an opportunity for both organizations to bring awareness to water safety through the World’s Largest Swim LessonTM, which was held on June 20, 2024.

"Teaching children to swim and be safe around water is not just a fun activity, but a critical life skill. We are thrilled to build a relationship with Wild Rivers to bring the World's Largest Swimming Lesson to the community – it goes to the mission of our children’s hospital and the important contributions we can all make for the betterment of our community. We want a safer summer for everyone."

- Yair Katz, chief executive of Miller Children’s & Women’s and senior vice president of pediatrics for MemorialCare.
