Department of Hyperbaric Medicine at Long Beach Medical Center

Service: Location(s):

Our internationally recognized Department of Hyperbaric Medicine, located in Southern California at Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach, was established in 1974. Over the past 30 years, we have provided hyperbaric oxygen treatments to more than 20,000 patients. We provide hyperbaric oxygen treatments to adults and children in Los Angeles County and Orange County, on an inpatient or outpatient basis seven-days-a-week. Emergency care is available 24 hours-a-day.

State-of-the-Art Facility

Our state-of-the-art facility has six monoplace (one person) hyperbaric oxygen chambers including two new, larger model chambers, which allow patients to sit, rather than lie down, if they prefer, during treatment. Each chamber is constructed using clear plastic material, allowing patients the opportunity to visit with family, friends or watch TV and videos during each treatment.
