Hormone Therapy

Hyperthermia
Hyperthermia is a specialized therapy that involves heating selected tumors to 106 to 108 degrees for up to one hour. Hyperthermia can be delivered in combination with radiotherapy.

Infusion Services
Designed to foster health and wellness, our infusion service centers are equipped with six recliners, four televisions with head sets and all the amenities to make for a private, safe and comfortable area. Interventional Oncology
Interventional oncology is a field of medicine and a sub-specialty of interventional radiology that utilizes imaging, including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI and PET, to perform minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Intraoperative Radiation Therapy
Intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) integrates a lumpectomy (the removal of a tumor from the breast) and radiation treatment into a single surgery. During IORT, a precise, concentrated radiation dose is delivered to the tumor immediately after it’s removed.
Kyphoplasty (Interventional Oncology)
Patients who have metastatic cancer in their spinal bones can get compression fractures of their vertebral bones. Many of these patients are not surgical candidates and can experience debilitating pain.
Lymphedema Therapy
Lymphedema rehabilitation focuses on teaching patients how to effectively manage lymphedema or secondary lymphedema on an independent basis through intensive one-on-one training. Individual sessions can last 60 to 120 minutes per day, depending on the severity of the condition.

Pre-Operative Embolization of Tumors
Certain tumors consist of a rich blood supply, which makes surgery risky. By pre-operatively blocking a blood vessel (embolization), the blood supply is closed off, which allows the tumor to be removed in a safer setting.

Targeted therapy uses customized chemotherapeutic drugs to treat cancer by stopping the growth and spread of cancer cells. Each patient’s cancer cells are unique and each patient responds differently to chemotherapies.

Theranostics pairs diagnostic biomarkers (used to confirm the presence of a disease, or to identify a subtype of the disease) with therapeutic treatment to target metastatic disease from gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer cells.

Trans-Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE)
TACE injects small embolic particles that are coated with chemotherapy drugs in to an artery directly supplying the tumor. The particles block both the blood supply and introduce cytotoxicity to attack the tumor in several ways.
Tumor Ablation
Tumor ablation is a minimally invasive surgical method to treat solid cancers. Special probes are used to “burn” or “freeze” cancers while avoiding traditional surgery. CT, ultrasound or MRI technology is used to guide and position the needle probe in to the tumor.

Venous Thrombolysis
