Pelvic health issues are more common than you might think. Women and men of all ages can suffer from bladder and pelvic floor disorders. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles found in the floor, or base, of the pelvis that give the ability to urinate, and pass bowel movements.

Pelvic floor disorders are defined by the inability to relax pelvic floor muscles, causing bladder and bowel control problems, and pelvic organ prolapse.

The Pelvic Health Center at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center offers comprehensive treatment options for men and women with pelvic problems. The multi-disciplinary team has the expertise and training to evaluate, diagnose and treat pelvic floor relapse, urinary and fecal incontinence, and other pelvic floor disorders.

Treatment options range from non-surgical treatments, such as medication, pelvic muscle rehabilitation and intravaginal devices, to a wide spectrum of surgical procedures to help obtain the best results.

Complete our Pelvic Health Center Intake Form. The information you provide will assist the Pelvic Health Center’s provider and coordinator to better understand your symptoms/conditions. All information provided is confidential and protected by HIPAA.
