The outpatient psychiatric clinic provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment to adult patients with mild to moderate psychiatric symptoms, who are able to function more independently and whose symptoms are manageable with less care. The primary goal is to stabilize the patient’s symptoms and prevent admission or readmission. Each patient’s needs are continually assessed by a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists and social workers. Treatment may include medication management, individual, group, family and couples therapy.
Outpatient psychiatric clinic patients are continuously monitored so if necessary patients can be referred to other programs available at the Center for Mental Health & Wellness including the partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program and the psychiatric acute treatment program.
