About

Pregnancy is the development of an embryo or fetus that leads to the birth of a child. Twin, triplets and multiple can occur when more than one embryo or fetus is being carried. Full term pregnancy lasts for 38 to 42 weeks and is cared for in stages of one to three trimesters.

If you become pregnant it is important to see your doctor and to select an OB/GYN to provide specialized care throughout your pregnancy and to deliver your newborn. When you’re expecting, there are many decisions to make—but none is as important as choosing the health care team who will help deliver your baby.
