Dr. Yamauchi is a licensed psychologist at Stramski Children’s Development Center at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital and specializes in psychological, developmental, and neuropsychological assessments.
Her clinical interests include behavioral interventions and parenting skills for toddlers, young children, and parents.
She holds her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Loma Linda University School of Behavioral Health. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
Dr. Yamauchi works with children and families in providing support through customized psychological assessments of cognitive, developmental, social-emotional, and academic functioning affected by ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning difficulties, genetic disorders, anxiety, depression, or other factors. This includes gathering information from the patient, caregivers, teachers and/or therapists. A tailored plan is developed to inform or supplement care based on the interpretation of data, clinical observations, and other available information.
In her free time, Dr. Yamauchi enjoys baking, traveling, working out, and spending time with her family and friends.
