A Royal Battle

12-year-old phenomenon Emma Manetta, Jr. Miss Southern California 2014, raised $12,150 for Orange Coast Memorial Foundation for the fight against breast cancer.

With the help of her mom Shawna, a breast cancer survivor, Emma Manetta has hosted multiple community events and fundraisers, and has raised over $12,000 selling bracelets and t-shirts, collecting change and selling fabric squares that were sewn together to create an honor quilt which hangs on the wall directly across from the Breast Center.  She was featured recently on CBS2 News where she shared her inspiring journey with reporter Michele Gile.

"I’ve been able to meet new people through the creation of this quilt and I’ve also been able to thank everyone who has supported me and my family, and also the doctors who kept my mom alive.” - Emma Manetta

We are delighted that our friend and supporter, Emma Manetta is now Jr. Miss Beauties of the Nation and has pledged to continue her royal battle against breast cancer with a new fundraising goal of $15,000!We are very grateful to have her support again in her new reign!

Emma Manetta is selling 2,555 paper butterflies to raise money for Orange Coast MemorialCare Breast Center. The number 2,555 represents the number of days that Medical Director of Breast Research, Dr. Bichlien Nguyen and the Orange Coast Memorial Breast Cancer Center have kept her mom alive.
