"A sense of familiarity with our medical professional and immediate surroundings is especially important to the emotional well-being of our patients, their families and their families-to-be," says Dr. May, who has been practicing medicine for 26 years in Laguna Hills. "It helps to demystify the uncertainties that are unique to women's health. The family unit is dependent upon mother and wife for guidance, devotion, companionship and direction. We will do our utmost to maintain her health, so she will be able to completely fulfill this role."
Dr. May supports Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) deliveries.
A graduate of Loma Linda University, Dr. May completed his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Board Certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. May has been the Surgical Subsection Chief of the Department of Surgery at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
In addition, he was selected to serve on the Executive Committee at Saddleback Women's Hospital and was elected Chief of the Department of OB/GYN. He served as Chief of Staff at Saddleback Women's Hospital in 1991 and is currently a member of the Saddleback Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors.
