Conference Room/Suite Number

3rd Floor, Treatment Planning Room

Join the MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Medical Center for a free screening of “Life Interrupted,” a documentary featuring intimate stories of several breast cancer survivors, including the filmmaker herself.

Knowledge is power; the successful prevention and treatment of breast cancer depends on this.

Oftentimes, breast cancer patients are asked to make their own choices regarding available treatments. The moment the diagnosis is received, each person must gather information and make decisions under extreme emotional duress, all in a relatively short period of time. The women in this documentary are confronting a life-altering diagnosis and refuse to step down. They respond to their disease process and the rebuilding of their lives with honesty, dignity, humor, and grace. Learn more about the film.

Screening begins at 6:15 p.m. and concludes by 7:15 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes early.

Parking will be validated for parking in the lot in front of the building.
