The purpose of the retrospective chart review study is to identify the clinical significance of a specific bacteria, called Mycobacterium abscesses complex, that has been found in lung samples in patients of our pediatric pulmonary clinic. We want to understand what the outcomes are of those who have been treated or have not been treated. Once a complete list of patients with this specific finding is obtained, we will evaluate their treatment or non-treatment outcomes as well as other clinically significant information such as underlying disease, other bacterial and fungal cultures, and radiology reports through both their electronic medical records as well as their outpatient clinic charts. This information will be used to conduct a case series detailing the outcomes.
