Saddleback Memorial Medical Center - Laguna Hills & San Clemente Just for Women Program
Where do I start
Every year after the age of 40, it is recommended that all women get a comprehensive physical fitness review & assessment. If this is the first such comprehensive work up, the report enables the woman and her primary care doctor to identify issues before they develop into chronic problems. With each subsequent annual update, you can easily chart your progress & see how things may change over the years.
Executive Physical
Most insurance plans cover the cost of the
physical (around $300) and it is usually more
comprehensive than what is available in a
doctor’s office. It includes:
Tone Your Bones
Our Osteoporosis Clinic invites you to join our group exercise program designed for
people who have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing the disease.
Diabetes Clinic
A program recognized by the American
Diabetes Association includes:
Breast Center
Whether visiting our Breast Center for a routine mammogram, or for more urgent
needs, our patients are treated by a team of breast specialists dedicated to providing
quality breast care services. Yearly mamogreams are recommended
beginning at age forty.
The MemorialCare Breast Center at Saddleback Memorial is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.
Skin Screening
Taking good care of your skin is more than just aesthetic-it’s important. Melanoma is a
deadly form of cancer that is completely treatable when detected early. Be sure and
have an annual full-body skin screening, especially if there is a family history.
Priority Care for GYN needs
Annual pap smears are recommended beginning with sexual maturity. Should you need
surgery, our Women’s Hospital has surgical suites geared for the gynecological patient
and the beautiful 15 bed unit was designed specially for the post-surgical woman.
