Description: This American Heart Association course is appropriate for lay rescuers who may have a need to respond to an emergency in the workplace or to family members where patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death. This course covers CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and the Heimlich maneuver (for choking) for Adult, Child and Infant. Upon successful completion of the class, your American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED card will be mailed to you. Course is a DVD (digital video disc) based program with hands on practice. The video technique allows instructors to observe students, provide feedback and guide student&apos;s acquisition of skills.
