Our Blue Folders help patients stay informed and increase patient satisfaction! We believe in simplifying the patient experience. That’s why MemorialCare has adopted The Blue Folder, a simple carry-all for all your important hospital papers. The folder is provided to all hospitalized patients upon admission.
We developed the folder in response to our patients’ suggestions. Our patients told us that they receive so much information before leaving the hospital, they wanted to make sure they didn’t lose any important papers. Included in the folder are education materials that are important for a patient’s treatment and recovery, including patient’s diagnosis, treatments, medications and discharge instructions. Documents given to a patient from admission to discharge, and even during physician office visits before or after discharge may be kept in one place. Patient Satisfaction Survey Patients are randomly selected by an independent survey vendor to participate in our patient experience survey.
