MemorialCare: Where Physicians Lead in the Pursuit of Best Practice Medicine

MemorialCare Medical Centers were pioneers in the pursuit of Best Practice Medicine. We established interdisciplinary Best Practice Teams (BPTs) that focus on the enhancement of care for specific patient populations (cardiology, emergency services, breast cancer, etc.) These teams study the nation’s best practices and guidelines, order sets and standards of practice and work to implement them at our medical centers. This unique approach has gained national attention as a unique model for establishing outstanding clinical care.
