MemorialCare’s transition to a new clinical information
system is more than adoption of a new computer
system that will help eliminate paperwork, handwritten
charts and the potential for error. Our transformation, known as
MemorialCare in the 21st century (MC*21), involves embracing new
technology, adopting best practices and implementing cultural change.
Secure Remote Access
MemorialCare realizes that as technology
advances, care can be improved by “connecting”
the hospitals to physicians at their offices or
even at their homes. Secure Remote Access
(SRA) gives you the benefits and convenience of connecting to the
MemorialCare network from outside the medical centers. Physicians
may access web–enabled clinical applications and e–mail, as well as the
MemorialCare intranet.
