About Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center
Our History
We began in Fountain Valley as FHP Hospital and for ten years serviced only FHP members. In 1996, Memorial Care Medical Centers recognized the growth in our community and the need for better access to healthcare. MemorialCare purchased FHP Hospital and we opened our doors to the entire community. We became Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, the only not-for-profit hospital in our area.
Our Mission
As a not-for-profit hospital, all of our revenues after expenses are invested back into the hospital for new technology, equipment and other enhancements to patient care.
We have one mission…to provide the highest level of quality healthcare to the people we serve.
