Miller Children's Hospital Stramski Children's Developmental Center

The Stramski Children's Developmental Center offers services through five programs:

• Behavioral Neurodevelopmental Program
• The Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center
• High Risk Infant Follow Up
• Sleep Disorder Center
• Stramski International Adoption Program

The Children's Behavioral Neurodevelopmental Program provides comprehensive evaluation and coordination of care for children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy, autism, attention deficit disorder and other problems that may interfere with the expected mental, emotional, social and academic development of the child.

The Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Center provides services to children with birth defects such as, cleft lip and/or palate and other craniofacial anomalies. The patients are seen by a multidisciplinary team for periodic evaluations and recommendations for ongoing medical and surgical treatment. A team of specialists are involved to meet the individualized needs of each child.

The High Risk Infant Follow-Up (HRIF) Program provides early intervention services for babies from birth to three years old, who are at risk for developmental problems because of medical conditions or complications surrounding pregnancy or birth. The program provides support for babies and families that fosters optimal developmental outcomes for each child. HRIF is funded through the State of California Children’s Medical Services and is operated through Miller Children’s Hospital’s Stramski Children’s Developmental Center.
