About
Dr. Thompson grew up in Orange, California and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
“I chose Family Medicine because it provides me the opportunity to care for patients of all ages with a wide variety of health/medical conditions. I look forward to building long-lasting relationships with my patients and being able to help them towards long, healthy lives.”
While completing his medical training, Dr. Thompson also found time to act as Academic Chief Resident, assist in developing and implementing new clinical operations and scheduling for interns and residents, serve as a sideline physician for a local high school football team, and gain urgent care experience at Memorial Prompt Care, an affiliate of MemorialCare Health System.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Thompson enjoys surfing, playing basketball, and traveling. An avid sports fan, he follows the Angels, Lakers, and of course, the University of Arizona Wildcat football and basketball teams.

After several appointments over a couple of years my experiences just keep getting worse. At first I thought he was great but as time goes on it is time for me to move on to a different primary care Dr.The last few visits I felt like I was not heard, felt like I was an inconvenience, nothing proactive on his part in terms of my care, and there was no follow through sans brief comments on "My Chart."Office staff was quite friendly as were the people who took blood, etc. The facility is rather new and what you would expect.I had high hopes at having a long term relationship but time to move on.

I chose to make an appointment with Dr. Thompson because of the reviews online. However, i was disappointed. His demeanor when he was asking me why I am in the medical facility showed that I am wasting his time & very apathetic., I paid to receive healthcare with insurance, I came to receive advice and not looked down upon. I will definitely not request for Dr. Thompson.

My first appointment as new patient. Spent 5 min with me and not a minute more. My BP was very high and I have a history of high BP and family history of early deaths due to heart problems so I was concerned.This dude walked out of room as I was talking and asking questions. I was talking to his back! When he finally turned around we were out in the hall discussing my medical concerns in the midst of many people.

He's very condescending and doesn't tell you any information even if you ask questions. He also talks to you like you're dumb. Not a fan.
