Sunil Gupta, DO, MS

“My father was an important influence on my decision to become a physician. I remember as early as age 10 accompanying him to the hospital as he did his weekend rounds. When I saw the positive influence his care had on patients, I knew I wanted to be able to help people too. I look forward to working with my patients to understand their needs and personalize their care to achieve and maintain their best possible health.”

Dr. Gupta grew up in the Palm Springs area and attended the University of California at Los Angeles, for his Bachelors of Science degree. He went on to earn a Masters of Science from Hunter College in New York prior to entering medical school back in California. He was chosen as Chief Resident for 2010-2011 while completing his residency in Philadelphia. Dr. Gupta is board certified in Rheumatology.

When not in the office, Dr. Gupta enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children and playing tennis and golf.

As a specialist, Dr. Gupta may not be selected as a primary care physician. He accepts patients age 18 and older.
