The MemorialCare Center for Women at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center has been recognized by the State of California and Fit Pregnancy magazine as one of the safest places to have a baby. Our renowned high-risk perinatal program has also been featured on Discovery Health Channel’s “Babies: Special Delivery.” With an in-house perinatologist, neonatologist and anesthesiologist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the highest quality care for mother and baby is assured. A designated Tertiary Perinatal Center, the Center for Women provides high-risk maternal ambulance transport.

Visiting Hours
Perinatal and Gynocology Units- General visiting hours are 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Fathers/Significant Other may visit until 10:00 PM.
- All Perinatal visitors must check in at the 2nd Floor secretary desk. The secretary or designee will facilitate entrance into the appropriate patient care hallway. These doors have secured access and are to remain closed at all times.
Labor & Delivery Unit
- Visiting in the BirthCare Center may occur any time of the day.
- Limited to three visitors including the father/designated significant other/adoptive/legal and/or biological parent, each of whom must wear a room pass at all times.
