Ambulatory Infusion Center

The Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) is committed to the outpatient treatment and support of patients with cancer. AIC is staffed by registered nurses who have a special certification in the administration of chemotherapeutic agents and by clerical personnel who are knowledgeable and willing to assist cancer patients and their loved ones in their journey.

Patients are educated about their medications, how to manage side effects, and how to obtain other needed services and support.

The Ambulatory Infusion Center offers expertise in central venous access devices. Nursing staff place and repair PICC lines, repair Hickman catheters, and re-establish flow in clotted port-a-caths, PICCs and Hickman catheters.
