Both centers are equipped with state-of-the-art digital mammography, and every mammogram and ultrasound screening performed is read by a Board Certified Radiologist who is specialized in breast imaging.

The new Breast Center at Saddleback Memorial-San Clemente is an extension of the Breast Center at Saddleback Memorial-Laguna Hills where advanced follow-up breast care is provided should it be necessary.

Genetics Counseling

Most breast cancers manifest without a known cause but some are hereditary. Saddleback Memorial Medical Center recently became recognized by the National Institutes of Health for our work in Cancer Genetic Counseling. Our genetic counseling service is lead by Patricia Gambol who is one of only 34 Advanced Practice Nurses in Genetics in the United States.
