Genetics Counseling
Most breast cancers manifest without a known cause but some are hereditary. The Cancer Risk & Prevention Program at the Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial under the direction of Carey Cullinane, MD was established in 2003 to provide this important component of cancer care. Ultrasound
In addition to mammograms, your Breast Center health care provider may recommend a breast ultrasound. An ultrasound utilizes high-frequency sound waves to create an internal image of your breast. This screening allows our specialized physicians to get a closer look at the chest walls and breast lumps to detect causes of breast symptoms.
