Breast Cancer Research & Clinical Trials

The Clinical Research Department is a collaborative program with the University of California, Irvine; Long Beach Memorial, Miller Children’s Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. Since the early 1970s the Clinical Research Department has offered adult and pediatric oncology clinical trials sponsored by National Study Groups, pharmaceutical companies and physician-initiated studies.

An extensive inventory of clinical trials is maintained, allowing patients to be treated with the newest therapies without having to leave their local communities. Major areas of focus include gynecologic, breast and pediatric cancers. Clinical Trials for breast and other women’s cancers are open for enrollment.
