Becoming a physician was a natural progression for Dr. Larson. Besides coming from a family of healthcare providers, she spent many summers helping save beachgoers while working as a lifeguard in Huntington Beach and San Diego. "Since the first grade, I knew I wanted to help people when I grew up. Family medicine allows me to build relationships while providing comprehensive care to my patients through all stages of life."

Within the wide scope of family medicine, Dr. Larson has particular interests in women's health, preventive care and chronic disease management. Outside of the office, Dr. Larson enjoys time sharing good food with family and friends, traveling, swimming, surfing and gardening. She and her husband hope to be able to return to the Amazon rainforest to volunteer more time in providing medical care to small communities there.
