Dorothy Leavey Radiation Oncology Center
The Radiation Oncology Center at the Todd Cancer Institute features state-of-the-art technology only available in a handful of cancer centers throughout the United States. Our Physicians are internationally known for their expertise in Brachytherapy and Hyperthermia treatment for head and neck cancers and prostate cancer. Other areas of expertise include breast, gynecological cancers, lung cancers and intracranial tumors.
At our center you will find a knowledgeable and caring multidisciplinary staff including physicians, radiation therapists, dosimetrists, physicists, nurses, social workers and our essential support staff. You will also have access to the best technology including TomoTherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Respiratory Gating (RG), CT-Based Three Dimensional Radiation Simulation and Treatment Planning, Hyperthermia, High Dose Rate (HDR) or Brachytherapy, Permanent Seed Implants, MammoSite and GliaSite.
