Memorial Home Health Maternal Infant Program provides in-home assessments of newborn and postpartum patients within 48 hours of hospital discharge.

Assessment: A thorough assessment of both Mom and baby is done including:

  • Newborn jaundice
  • Feeding disorders
  • Maternal infections.
Education: Education is provided, including:
  • Breast feeding
  • Newborn care umbilical cord management
  • Circumcision care
