Derrick R. Allen, M.D.

Doctor Allen obtained both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Follow an internal medicine internship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Dr. Allen completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of California - Irvine. He went on to receive subspecialty fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of California - San Francisco. Upon completion of fellowship, he joined the clinical faculty at UCSF as an Associate Professor. During this time, Dr. Allen gained additional expertise in mammography and breast imaging. He now bring his interest and experience in both Interventional Radiology and Breast Imaging to RMG.
