Visit HealthExpress any day of the week to receive treatment for common medical illnesses—all in the convenience of your local ALBERTSONS/Sav-on Pharmacy store. Our licensed Nurse Practitioners work under the clinical direction of MemorialCare physician directors providing the quality care that you expect from our trusted health system.

MemorialCare HealthExpress clinics provide expert, convenient care for adults and children aged two years and older who have common illnesses, minor wounds and skin conditions.

HealthExpress Nurse Practitioners treat common illnesses such as strep throat, ear infections, seasonal allergies and more. They provide physicals for school, camp, and sports, and offer a variety of routine immunizations.

MemorialCare HealthExpress locations are open when you need us. Visit us for convenient, neighborhood care seven days a week.

Do I need an appointment? How long will I wait?
Walk into a MemorialCare HealthExpress clinic to receive expert care with minimal waiting. No appointment is needed. A typical clinic visit takes 15 to 20 minutes. We see patients on a first-come-first-served basis. If you arrive and our Nurse Practitioner is seeing another patient, we'll give you a pager to carry while you shop, and page you when the clinician is available.
Do I need to have insurance to receive treatment at MemorialCare HealthExpress?
We are currently finalizing insurance contracts, and we take cash payment for uninsured patients. So you know all costs up-front before your visit, the cost of the services are available at

How much will my visit cost?
At MemorialCare HealthExpress, most of the services are an affordable standard fee of $59.00. Some vaccinations, health screens or diagnostic tests are priced separately. The HealthExpress clinician can provide you additional information regarding the cost of your visit.

When should I visit my Primary Care Physician?
To ensure ongoing quality health care, MemorialCare recommends all patients have a primary care physician. We hope you'll visit HealthExpress to receive convenient care for minor conditions when your doctor isn't available. We’re committed to working with you to share information about your visit with your regular doctor. If you don't have a primary care provider, we can make referrals.
What is a certified Nurse Practitioner?
Nurse Practitioners are registered professional nurses who are prepared, through advanced graduate education and clinical training to provide a wide range of health care services, including the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions. MemorialCare HealthExpress Nurse Practitioners are under the clinical direction of MemorialCare Health System and physicians.
Will my Primary Care Physician be notified that I was treated at MemorialCare HealthExpress?
With your permission, we will provide your primary health care doctor with information about your clinic visit. You will also receive a summary of your visit that you can take to your physician as part of your follow-up care. Remember, we want to provide great communication to your primary care provider to facilitate the highest quality medical care.
What if the MemorialCare HealthExpress clinician thinks I am seriously ill?
Because we are part of the MemorialCare Health System, our clinician has many resources available to ensure that you get the most appropriate care for your condition. Our clinician will advise you to seek the most appropriate care, whether from your primary care provider, a convenient Urgent Care Center or the Emergency Rooms.
What is the follow-up with my Primary Care Physician?
You’ll receive a report of your visit, 'after visit summary,' from MemorialCare HealthExpress. We can mail or fax this report to your primary care provider so he or she knows about your care and is aware of the treatment plan and recommendations. If your doctor utilizes the same electronic medical record system as MemorialCare Health System, we can automatically update your information after each visit. This gives your primary care provider immediate, confidential access to this information.
What if I don’t have a primary care doctor?
You do not need to have an established primary health care provider to visit MemorialCare HealthExpress; but we strongly recommend that everyone establish and maintain a relationship with a primary care doctor. Our goal is to help you and your family when you need convenient medical care for the treatment of common conditions. We can provide referrals to MemorialCare Health System affiliated physicians in your area if you don’t already have a primary care provider.
What should l do if I think I have a serious illness or injury?

- Visit a MemorialCare affiliated Urgent Care Center
- Find a MemorialCare affiliated primary care physician
Can I be treated for chronic health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol or other long-standing health conditions?
At MemorialCare HealthExpress, we treat common everyday conditions. We may offer screening for identified chronic health conditions but if you require further evaluation or treatment, we will refer you back to your primary care doctor for treatment.
Can I get a prescription or a refill on my prescriptions?
We do not refill prescriptions ordered by other health care providers. In order to maintain high quality medical care it is important for you to follow up with your primary care doctor for further evaluation and refill prescriptions.If, during your visit to MemorialCare HealthExpress, the Nurse Practitioner determines that you need a new prescription, one will be provided.
Will my insurance cover the prescription?
Please check with your health plan provider and pharmacy to ensure that your insurance will cover your prescription. The cost of your MemorialCare HealthExpress clinic visit does not include the cost of any prescriptions.
